History of Endowment 
The endowment was formed in 1996 by a group of Bergenfield High School alumni in order to create a committed source of financial support for Bergenfield educational activities. Although the endowment supports charitable activities outside of Bergenfield, its focus is on local extracurricular and educational groups.

Soup Kitchen Project
In conjunction with the Inter-Religious Fellowship for the Homeless and students from BHS's Interact Club, the Endowment sponsored a soup kitchen night at a local shelter in Hackensack. Students demonstrated their leadership skills by organizing volunteers, preparing meals, and buying supplies. Their hard work was well received with hearty smiles.
